DAY #55
JUNE 2, 2023
• I received an email response from Officer Allen:
Officer Allen’s response:
“Pamela, The medical release that you provided to Officer Benecke was provided to Maine General to get the medical records pertaining to your complaint. The records department did not attach all records because you have to indicate “SANE kit, DV investigation” for them to provide those records to us. The release you have to sign (if you chose to do so), is the same exact form you filled out before, but records is requesting that the “other” box is checked or they won’t release the pertinent information for the case. Thank you for completing and returning the release. I will file for the additional records today.
The significance of your cell phone geolocation data is that it could tell us where you went after you left Silver Street. I’m investigating your complaint, not the OUI charge. It is your choice if you want a lawyer with you at any point during the process. The specialist that works with the phones is from a different agency and specializes in forensic examinations of electronic devices. The process to accomplish this would be:
1. For you to complete a written consent form to search the phone and provide the phone to me.
2. Our staff will coordinate with the assisting investigator and transport the phone to him to complete processing, following which we will transport the phone back here to be released to you. The forensic download process can take 4 to 5 hours. You will not be able to be present during the processing of the phone. We will make every attempt to minimize the time you are without your phone.
In reference your questions about the investigation, I am going to wait until the investigation is complete to update you further. Releasing information prematurely can be detrimental to the integrity of the investigation. Respectfully, Officer Tanya Allen”
• I did not respond back to the above email; as I was NOT handing my phone over to Waterville PD & giving them full access to all the victims that had come forward with their information about being drugged & raped in downtown Waterville and the interactions that they then had with Waterville PD pertaining to reporting those crimes.
